On the night of July 3, a series of explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea. According to local Telegram channels and monitoring resources, they were heard near the Kacha and Saki military airfields, as well as in the area of the village of Gvardiyske.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Local residents also reported the work of Russian air defense. Explosions were also heard in settlements in the Saky district.<\/p>\n

After the night attack, according to preliminary information, several energy infrastructure facilities were hit. In particular, power supply was lost in Stary Krym and nearby settlements. The cause was probably the damage to the local power substation.<\/p>\n

In addition, eyewitnesses reported thick smoke near the village of Maryanivka, Krasnogvardiyskyi district, where a 220\/35 kV electrical substation is located. According to the Crimean Wind Telegram channel, the fire at the facility had been going on since at least 02:46.<\/p>\n

There are also reports of a fire near the railway bridge near the village of Yantarne, and a fire at the 110\/35\/10 kV electrical substation in Stary Krym. According to local sources, heat signals were also recorded at the “Bilogirsk” substation at night.<\/p>\n

There is currently no official confirmation of the causes of the explosions or information about the extent of the damage. Russian authorities have not yet commented on the situation.<\/p>\n
