In Belgorod, Russia, the Michurinskaya gas turbine thermal power plant came under attack on the morning of July 3. Following the strike, power and water supply outages were reported in some areas of the city.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the assessment of the ASTRA OSINT analyst, the 110 kV substation of the Michurinskaya GT CHPP was hit.<\/p>\n

Local residents are reporting on social media that after the attack, electricity and water supply were cut off in parts of Belgorod.<\/p>\n

The authorities of the Belgorod region confirmed the attack on the region. According to the operational headquarters, a fire broke out on the territory of one of the infrastructure facilities, and rescuers were dispatched to the scene.<\/p>\n

Damage to energy infrastructure and five vehicles was also reported.<\/p>\n

This is not the first attack on the Michurinsk GT CHPP. The plant was also hit in February 2026.<\/p>\n

As reported, a series of explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Crimea on the night of July 3. According to local Telegram channels and monitoring resources, they were heard near the Kacha and Saki military airfields, as well as in the area of the village of Gvardiyske.<\/a><\/p>\n
