The restrictions are in effect in Kyiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, and Odessa regions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/Ukrenergo\/5167\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> NPC Ukrenergo, DTEK and regional distribution system operators.<\/p>\n<p> DTEK noted that, by order of Ukrenergo, emergency shutdowns were applied in Kyiv and Kyiv region.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Kyiv and Kyiv region: emergency shutdowns were applied at the command of Ukrenergo,&#8221; DTEK reported.<\/p>\n<p> In the Odessa region, emergency outages were attributed to a combination of high load on the power system due to heat and damage to power equipment from previous Russian shelling.<\/p>\n<p> In Chernihiv region, at the direction of Ukrenergo, 10 emergency shutdown schedules have been introduced. Similar restrictions are in effect in Cherkasy region.<\/p>\n<p> Ukrenergo explained that the cause of the emergency outages was a sharp increase in electricity consumption and equipment overload due to hot weather.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Due to high energy consumption and equipment overload in hot weather conditions, emergency power outages have been implemented in several regions of Ukraine. Hourly outage schedules are currently not in effect,&#8221; the company said.<\/p>\n<p> Energy experts stressed that emergency restrictions will be lifted immediately after the power system stabilizes.
