Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has rejected Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s claims of the alleged seizure of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region, calling them yet another Kremlin lie.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The head of state announced this on social media.<\/p>\n

According to Zelensky, on the eve of US Independence Day, Putin “decided to lie to the world and the American president” by spreading false information about the situation on the front.<\/p>\n

“Of course, this isn’t true\u2014it’s just another Russian lie designed to generate some kind of news. If Konstantinovka is now under Russian control, then Putin probably won’t have a problem meeting with me there and finding diplomatic solutions to finally end the war. But it won’t change the front: the truth is very different from Putin’s words,” the president stated.<\/p>\n

The day before, Russian state media reported the alleged complete capture of Konstantinovka, citing a statement by Vladimir Putin. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian side denies these claims.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the “East” group of forces reported that Kostiantynivka remains under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and fighting continues in certain areas of the city. According to the military, Russian attempts to break into the city are being detected and thwarted, and the occupiers are suffering losses.<\/p>\n

The Vostok Group of Forces stated that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s claims of the complete capture of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region are false. Ukrainian military officials emphasize that the city remains under the control of the Defense Forces, and fighting continues.<\/p>\n
