The State Export Control Service has issued a permit for the supply of a batch of Ukrainian-made F10 strike drones for the needs of the US Armed Forces.

This is reported by Interfax-Ukraine .

As noted by F-Drones, on July 1, the State Export Control Service of Ukraine issued a permit for the export of a batch of F10 strike unmanned aerial systems. The permit was granted based on the decision of the Interdepartmental Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation Policy and Export Control.

The company emphasized that this is the first known case when Ukraine officially allowed the export of ready-made combat unmanned systems for the needs of the US military. It is also the first time that the state has granted permission specifically for the export of ready-made Ukrainian unmanned aircraft systems, and not individual technologies, components or parts.

According to the company, the permission received opens the opportunity to fulfill contractual obligations within the framework of the US Department of Defense Drone Dominance program.

It is reported that in February, the American company UDD Tech Corp, which represents F-Drones products in the United States, took part in the first phase of the Gauntlet I program at the Fort Benning military base in Georgia. The F10 system took 6th place among 25 participants, was among the 11 winners and received a contract to supply 2,000 drones to the US Department of Defense. The company was also selected for the next phase of the program.

“We are glad that Ukraine is opening up opportunities for the export of drones. This is a strategically important step for the entire defense industry. Export is a tool for scaling production, attracting investment, developing technologies, raising quality standards, and strengthening international cooperation. This does not mean “less for the front.” On the contrary, a stronger industry means a stronger Armed Forces. Export today is the strength of the Ukrainian army tomorrow,” said Stas Khutor, CEO of F-Drones.

The company also noted that the permit was issued before the new decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on simplifying the export of military products under martial law came into force.

It was previously reported that the Government has introduced a special mechanism for the controlled export of Ukrainian weapons and defense technologies . Part of the funds from such contracts will be directed to a special fund of the state budget for the development of the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex.

Also follow “Pryamim” on Facebook , X , Telegram , and Instagram.

Ukraine has officially allowed the export of ready-made combat unmanned aerial systems for the first time.
