Non-working pensioners who lived in areas contaminated as a result of the Chernobyl accident are entitled to the payment, under the conditions specified by law.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pfu.gov.ua\/cv\/420994-doplaty-nepratsyuyuchym-pensioneram-yaki-postijno-prozhyvayut-v-zoni-garantovanogo-dobrovilnogo-vidselennya-u-2026-rotsi-2\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> the Pension Fund of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> The right to a supplement is provided for by the Law &#8220;On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2026&#8221; No. 4695-IX. The amount of the monthly supplement in 2026 is 2,595 hryvnias, since it is tied to the subsistence minimum for persons who have lost their ability to work.<\/p>\n<p> The payment can be received by non-working pensioners who lived in the zone of unconditional (mandatory) or guaranteed voluntary resettlement:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> as of April 26, 1986;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> or resided there before January 1, 1993.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> At the same time, the allowance is not assigned:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> citizens who left the guaranteed voluntary resettlement zone after the accident and later returned;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> persons who first moved to this area after April 26, 1986;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> working pensioners.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> At the same time, changing your place of residence within the same radioactively contaminated territory does not deprive you of the right to receive a supplement.<\/p>\n<p> A new mechanism for confirming the right to a supplement was also introduced in 2026. If information about living in a contaminated area is missing from state registers, pensioners can contact a special commission at the regional military administration.<\/p>\n<p> This mechanism is used if the necessary information is missing from the citizen&#8217;s passport, the Unified State Demographic Register, or the database of the State Migration Service. Documents must be submitted by September 30, 2026. Currently, 8 such commissions operate in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> In addition, the Pension Fund reminded that in Ukraine there are also monthly age-related pension supplements. After reaching the age of 70, pensioners are automatically assigned a supplement of 300 hryvnias, after 75 years &#8211; 456 hryvnias, and after 80 years &#8211; 570 hryvnias. For the first month, the payment is calculated in proportion to the number of days after the birthday.<\/p>\n<p> It was previously reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/deiakym-ukraintsiam-zbilshat-pensii-koho-tse-torknetsia\/\">Ukrainian pensioners can count on an increase in pension payments<\/a> through the appointment of various allowances and additional payments upon reaching the appropriate age.<\/p>\n<p> It is worth adding that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/v-ukraini-zhinkam-narakhuiut-doplaty-do-pensii-khto-ta-iak-mozhe-oformyty-vyplaty\/\">in Ukraine, monthly pension supplements are provided for women who have raised 5 or more children in 2026.<\/a> The amount of the supplement may exceed 1,000 hryvnias, but it is not calculated automatically.<\/p>\n<p> Also follow <strong>\u201cPryamim\u201d<\/strong> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pryamiy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/prm_ua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">X<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/+rtV4dxYu2_cyNjVi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Telegram<\/a> , and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/pryamiy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Instagram.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In July 2026, certain categories of Ukrainian pensioners may receive a monthly pension supplement of UAH 2,595.
