The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Defense Forces, carried out a series of strikes on fuel, energy and military infrastructure facilities of the Russian Federation and temporarily occupied Crimea. The Yaroslavl Oil Refinery, the Vysotsk oil terminal, and a number of military facilities on the peninsula were hit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Security Service of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

“Fulfilling the tasks set by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky within the framework of the systematic reduction of the military-economic potential of the Russian Federation, the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Defense Forces of Ukraine, carried out a series of successful strikes on fuel, energy and military infrastructure facilities of Russia and temporarily occupied Crimea,” the report says.<\/p>\n

According to the SBU, Ukrainian drones hit the Yaroslavl oil refinery and the Yaroslavl linear production and dispatching station. Explosions were heard and smoke was recorded in the area of the refinery.<\/p>\n

In addition, the SBU confirmed the successful destruction of the oil terminal of the Vysotsk seaport in the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation. As a result of the attack, two oil tankers were disabled, and three tanks with petroleum products were also damaged.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian drones also attacked the Pershy Zavod refinery in the Kaluga region. Explosions were heard near the enterprise, after which a fire broke out on its territory.<\/p>\n

In addition, Ukrainian forces struck strategic military targets in temporarily occupied Crimea.<\/p>\n

In particular, three hangars with aviation equipment at the Gvardiyske airfield were hit. The Pantsir-S2 anti-aircraft missile system near Simferopol, a mobile firing group in Kerch, a tank with oil products and a pumping station at the TES-Terminal-1 oil depot were also hit.<\/p>\n

“On the instructions of the President, we are doing everything to ensure that Russia receives retribution for its crimes every day. While the enemy is shelling peaceful Ukrainian cities, its military and fuel infrastructure will suffer significant losses. We are systematically destroying the resources that fuel the Russian war machine, and this work will only intensify,” said SBU Chief Yevheniy Khmara.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that on the night of July 5, the Ukrainian Defense Forces, according to preliminary data, struck two key power substations in temporarily occupied Crimea<\/a> . As a result, Saki, Yevpatoria, and part of the Bakhchisarai district were left without power supply.<\/p>\n
