It includes leadership and tolerance camps, as well as the digitalization of educational institutions in the Lviv and Kyiv regions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To implement the initiative, on July 6, representatives of Taiwan and the public organization All-Ukrainian Democratic Forum<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1KvaM2PLPs\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">signed a memorandum<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of cooperation and an agreement on charitable assistance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project is being implemented by the All-Ukrainian Democratic Forum, a non-governmental organization, with the support of Taiwan and the assistance of Ukrainian MP Mykola Kniazhytskyi. &#8220;Taiwan and Ukraine are closely connected, as we are working together to respond to authoritarian states. We share common values, and that&#8217;s why we stand with Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Taiwan has provided over $120 million in humanitarian aid. We want to ensure that even in these difficult times, no Ukrainian child is left behind,&#8221; noted Jeff Liu, Head of the Taipei Mission to Poland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to Iryna Handzyuk, Chair of the Board of the All-Ukrainian Democratic Forum, the project is being expanded in new directions this year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;We complement the entrepreneurship component with leadership and tolerance camps. We want children to not only acquire digital skills but also learn to work in a team and be leaders,&#8221; she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is the second stage of cooperation between Ukraine and Taiwan in school education. Last year, Taiwan donated $1 million in charitable aid for computerization of Ukrainian schools and STEM education.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to project manager Ulyana Pak, thanks to the previous stage, 96 schools with over 65,000 students received new equipment for their computer science classrooms and robotics labs. Thirty-three computer science teachers were trained, and high school students from 72 schools participated in programs on entrepreneurship, teamwork, and startup creation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The participants themselves speak about the project&#8217;s results. Computer science teacher Andriy Chetverikov from Bryukhovychi School No. 41 said that after the camp, the students began to approach their studies and work with technology differently. And Nazar Soroka, a computer science and robotics teacher at Lviv School No. 49, noted that the project provided the teachers not only with new knowledge but also with a professional community, which they pass on to their students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Taiwan also previously donated equipment worth nearly 3 million hryvnias to the Lviv Grono Lyceum.
