Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced a change in the country’s political strategy and announced personnel changes in the government and law enforcement agencies. According to him, the update should ensure the implementation of new domestic and foreign policy priorities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the president, each priority area of foreign policy will be responsible for a separate person who will have the necessary experience to implement the agreements reached at the level of state leaders.<\/p>\n

Among the key areas,<\/strong> Zelenskyy named cooperation with the United States, in particular regarding licenses for the production of Patriot systems and security partnership, the European anti-ballistic missile project, Ukraine’s movement towards membership in the European Union, relations with Poland and Hungary, cooperation with the states of the Middle East and the Gulf region, China, as well as international organizations.<\/p>\n

The President also stated that work in the frontline and border regions of Ukraine, which are under daily Russian attacks, needs to be strengthened<\/strong> . He named increasing the supply of weapons and drones to the Ukrainian army, preparing the state for the winter period, accelerating the transformation of state-owned companies, and implementing agreements with international partners on the restoration of Ukraine as separate priorities.<\/p>\n

Zelenskyy said he discussed future personnel decisions with Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko. According to him, to implement the updated political strategy, it is necessary to update the Cabinet of Ministers<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

“I am grateful to Yulia for her clear, stable and effective work as Prime Minister, for her years of productive work in the Ukrainian team, and for offering to lead a new significant direction in relations with a key partner,” the president said.<\/p>\n

According to Zelensky, relevant personnel decisions are planned to be made jointly with the parliament. He also announced that changes will take place in the composition of the heads of law enforcement agencies.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that Yulia Svyrydenko could take the position of ambassador to the United States.<\/p>\n

“This means that she is leaving the post of Prime Minister and the entire government will be renewed,” the MP said.<\/p>\n
