On the night of Tuesday, July 14, drones attacked two strategic oil refineries in Russia. Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat in Bashkortostan and the Afipsky Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Krai were hit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by OSINT monitoring resources and the Exilenova+ Telegram channel.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary data, numerous explosions were heard on the territory of Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat. Local residents reported a series of hits, after which a fire broke out at the enterprise and thick smoke rose. The official authorities of Bashkortostan had not commented on the attack at the time of publication. <\/p>\n

It is noted that the plant is located approximately 1,400 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, which indicates a significant range of damage.<\/p>\n

Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat is one of the largest oil refining and petrochemical complexes in Russia. The enterprise carries out a full cycle of hydrocarbon processing and produces over 150 types of products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, polyethylene, ammonia and urea.<\/p>\n

On the same night, explosions also occurred at the Afipsky refinery in Krasnodar Krai. According to OSINT communities, several powerful explosions were followed by a fire on the territory of the enterprise. <\/p>\n

The Afipsky Oil Refinery is one of the key enterprises in the Russian fuel industry. Its design capacity is 6.25 million tons of oil per year. The plant refines oil and gas condensate, and also produces gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, vacuum gas oil, sulfur and other products, which, according to open data, are used to meet the needs of the Russian army.<\/p>\n

There is currently no official confirmation of the consequences of the attacks from the Russian authorities. Information about the extent of the damage is being clarified.<\/p>\n
