{"id":1417714,"date":"2026-07-14T21:36:52","date_gmt":"2026-07-14T18:36:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/?p=1417714"},"modified":"2026-07-14T21:36:52","modified_gmt":"2026-07-14T18:36:52","slug":"the-national-organization-for-the-verification-of-medicinal-products-has-been-officially-registered-in-ukraine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/the-national-organization-for-the-verification-of-medicinal-products-has-been-officially-registered-in-ukraine\/","title":{"rendered":"The National Organization for the Verification of Medicinal Products has been officially registered in Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"118\" data-end=\"303\"><strong>The National Organization for the Verification of Medicines (NOVLZ) has been officially registered in Ukraine, which will verify the authenticity of medicines and combat their counterfeiting.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"305\" data-end=\"361\">This <a href=\"https:\/\/moz.gov.ua\/uk\/v-ukrayini-oficijno-zareyestrovano-nacionalnu-organizaciyu-z-verifikaciyi-likarskih-zasobiv?\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported<\/a> by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"363\" data-end=\"536\">The Ministry of Health noted that the creation of the organization is an important step for the development of the pharmaceutical industry and the implementation of European standards for controlling the circulation of medicines.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"538\" data-end=\"688\">The main task of the NOVLZ will be to prevent the sale of counterfeit drugs by verifying the authenticity of drug packaging using 2D coding.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"692\" data-end=\"1139\">&#8220;Verification of medicines with 2D coding has become the main solution for many developed countries of the world to detect counterfeit medicines already on the market and prevent their appearance in the future. The creation of the National Organization brings us closer to introducing such a system in Ukraine, which is also part of the implementation of EU standards,&#8221; said Deputy Minister of Health for Digital Development Maria Karchevych.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1141\" data-end=\"1287\">The organization will work in cooperation with government authorities, the European Organization for the Verification of Medicinal Products, and European partners.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1289\" data-end=\"1394\">In accordance with the legislation, the founders of NOVLZ were specialized associations of pharmaceutical manufacturers:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"1702\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"1702\">\n<li data-section-id=\"ckaoau\" data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"1490\">NGO &#8220;Association of Employers&#8217; Organizations of the Medical and Microbiological Industry of Ukraine&#8221;;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"1702\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"1702\">\n<li data-section-id=\"ur3d5l\" data-start=\"1491\" data-end=\"1529\">Association &#8220;Drug Manufacturers of Ukraine&#8221;;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"1702\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"1702\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1l9g3nf\" data-start=\"1530\" data-end=\"1599\">NGO &#8220;Association of Representatives of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers&#8221;;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"1702\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"1702\">\n<li data-section-id=\"hm3rlb\" data-start=\"1600\" data-end=\"1647\">Public Organization &#8220;Association of Manufacturers of Innovative Medicines&#8221;;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"1702\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"1702\">\n<li data-section-id=\"ic6h6z\" data-start=\"1648\" data-end=\"1702\">NGO &#8220;Association of Indian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1704\" data-end=\"1866\">Among the key functions of the NOVLZ will also be the creation and administration of a centralized data repository with information on unique identifiers of medicinal products.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1868\" data-end=\"2043\">In addition, the organization will check for possible cases of drug falsification, inform government agencies about them, and carry out regular monitoring of the authenticity of medicines.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1868\" data-end=\"2043\">Also follow <strong>\u201cPryamim\u201d<\/strong> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pryamiy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/prm_ua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">X<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/+rtV4dxYu2_cyNjVi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Telegram<\/a> , and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/pryamiy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Instagram.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Organization for the Verification of Medicines (NOVLZ) has been officially registered in Ukraine, which will verify the authenticity of medicines and combat their counterfeiting.
