The Servant of the People faction has revealed who they plan to re-appoint to the new Cabinet of Ministers, which, according to preliminary data, may be headed by Serhiy Koretsky. Meanwhile, Mykhailo Fedorov confirmed that he is leaving the post of Minister of Defense and summed up the results of his work.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> to Suspilny by three interlocutors from the Servant of the People faction after a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n

Fedorov announced his resignation<\/a> on social media.<\/p>\n

According to sources, Denys Shmyhal, who will head the Ministry of Energy, Tetyana Berezhna – the Ministry of Culture, Serhiy Marchenko – the Ministry of Finance, Viktor Lyashko – the Ministry of Health, Matviy Bidny – the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Andriy Sybiga – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Denys Ulyutin – the Ministry of Social Policy, may retain their positions in the new government.<\/p>\n

At the same time, changes are expected in a number of departments. According to the publication’s sources, the current Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko may become the Minister of Defense, while the Head of the National Police Ivan Vyhivskyi may head the Ministry of Internal Affairs.<\/p>\n

Also, the head of the Mykolaiv OVA, Vitaliy Kim, may replace Natalia Kalmykova as Minister of Veterans Affairs. In addition, they plan to add a department related to internally displaced persons to the ministry.<\/p>\n

Suspilny’s interlocutors also reported plans to divide the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture into two separate departments. According to preliminary data, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy will be headed by Taras Vysotsky, and the Ministry of Economy and Environment will be headed by the head of the Ukrainian office of McKinsey & Company, Oleksandr Kravchenko.<\/p>\n

Similarly, they plan to divide the Ministry of Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure. The Ministry of Community Development may be headed by MP Vitaliy Bezgin, and the Ministry of Infrastructure by the head of the Kyiv Oblast’s Regional Executive Committee, Mykola Kalashnyk.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Ministry of Digital Transformation may be headed by the current Deputy Minister of Defense Oksana Ferchuk, the Ministry of Justice by People’s Deputy Denys Maslov, and the new Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration may be Vsevolod Chentsov, Ukraine’s representative to the EU.<\/p>\n

Amid these personnel changes, Mikhail Fedorov confirmed that he is leaving the post of Defense Minister. He noted that among the main results of his work he considers the disconnection of the Russian military from Starlink, the development of drone procurement programs, defense procurement reform, the conclusion of arms contracts, and the testing of a Ukrainian ballistic missile.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Fedorov admitted that it was not possible to complete the transformation of the Ministry of Defense according to NATO standards, fully transfer defense procurement to the tender system, and form a culture of responsibility for decisions made.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that the Verkhovna Rada on July 14 supported the resignation of Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko<\/a> . The entire Cabinet of Ministers resigned along with the head of government.<\/p>\n

The media also reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his concerns about the work of Mykhailo Fedorov as Minister of Defense<\/a> , in particular due to differences in approaches to warfare and defense procurement.<\/p>\n
