The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published<\/a> operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on July 17 regarding the Russian invasion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In total, 229 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day. The enemy carried out 68 air strikes, dropped 175 guided bombs. In addition, it engaged 6,231 kamikaze drones for destruction and carried out 2,225 shelling of settlements and positions of our troops.<\/p>\n

In the North-Slobozhansk<\/strong> and Kursk<\/strong> directions, the Defense Forces successfully repelled two enemy attacks. The invaders also carried out 42 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including one from multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

During the day, in the South Slobozan<\/strong> direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 14 times near Vilcha, Kozacha Lopan, Lyman, Izbitskyi, and Synelnykovye. Two clashes are still ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk<\/strong> direction today, the enemy carried out one assault on the positions of the Defense Forces in the direction of the settlement of Shyykivka.<\/p>\n

Sixteen attempts by the invaders to advance were repelled in the Lyman<\/strong> direction in the areas of the settlements of Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Lyman, Ozerne, and Yampil.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk<\/strong> direction, the Defense Forces successfully stopped 23 attempts by the invaders to advance near Kryvaya Luka, Zakitne, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Riznykivka.<\/p>\n

Six enemy assaults were recorded in the Kramatorsk<\/strong> direction in the areas of Malynivka and Nykyforivka.<\/p>\n

In the Kostyantynivka<\/strong> direction, the Defense Forces repelled 13 enemy assaults near Kostyantynivka, Ivano-Frankivsk, Illinivka, and Rusyn Yar; another clash is ongoing.<\/p>\n

A total of 34 attacks were carried out by the enemy in the Pokrovsk<\/strong> direction. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Sofiivka, Toretske, Bilytske, Novy Donbas, Bilozerske, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Myrne, Vasylivka, Sergiyevka, Udachne and Molodetske. Two clashes are ongoing.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary estimates, today 50 occupiers were eliminated here and 11 were wounded; one artillery system, two units of automobiles, two units of special equipment and one control point of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed. One artillery system and one unit of enemy automobile equipment were damaged. 275 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.<\/p>\n

One attack by the invaders was repelled by our defenders in the Oleksandrivka<\/strong> direction in the Berezovoye area.<\/p>\n

Twenty-two attacks by the invaders were recorded in the Hulyaipil<\/strong> direction in the areas of the settlements of Kosivtsevo, Verkhnia Tersa, Tsvitkove, Girke, Olenokostyantynivka, Vozdvizhivka, and Charivne. Two clashes are ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the Novoandreyevka and Prymorske areas.<\/p>\n

No enemy assault actions were recorded in the Dnieper<\/strong> direction.<\/p>\n

There were no significant changes in the situation in other areas.<\/p>\n
