Russia is preparing to conduct a large-scale mobilization this fall, planning to call up more than 500,000 people.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Andrey Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, wrote<\/a> about this on his Telegram channel.<\/p>\n

According to him, some of the mobilized troops are planned to be sent to the front within two weeks of being called up to replenish losses in the eastern front. Others will be trained for at least a month for the possible opening of a new frontier.<\/p>\n

“Russia is preparing to mobilize 500,000 troops for the fall. That’s Russia’s plan,” Kovalenko noted.<\/p>\n

He also warned that Ukraine faces a difficult autumn and winter, which will be accompanied by intense combat operations involving infantry, drones, guided bombs, and other weapons.<\/p>\n

According to Kovalenko, Chief of Staff of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko and Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov are convincing Vladimir Putin that implementing such a plan will help achieve the stated goals in the war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n

“I know for sure they’re wrong. Now we all need unity and effectiveness,” the head of the CPI emphasized.<\/p>\n
