In Zaporizhia region, Russian troops attacked a passenger train with a drone. Thanks to the timely evacuation of passengers and staff, there were no deaths or injuries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Russian drone hit a passenger train on Saturday, July 18. The train was damaged as a result of the attack.<\/p>\n

Ukrzaliznytsia reported that casualties were avoided thanks to the prompt warning of the monitoring group. Passengers, locomotive and train crews were evacuated in time.<\/p>\n

“Thanks to the prompt warning of the Ukrzaliznytsia monitoring group, all passengers, as well as the locomotive and train crews, were evacuated in a timely manner,” Ukrzaliznytsia reported.<\/p>\n

Currently, the passengers are in a safe shelter and will be transported to Zaporizhia by special buses.<\/p>\n

The company also noted that due to the shelling, train traffic in the region will temporarily be carried out according to a dispatch schedule with increased control by monitoring groups.<\/p>\n

Passengers of flights heading to or from Zaporizhia were recommended to follow personalized notifications about train movements in the Ukrzaliznytsia mobile application.<\/p>\n
