Russian troops attacked a rehabilitation center for children and people with disabilities in the village of Rybtsy in the Sumy district. The building was completely destroyed by fire.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the local publication “Granitsa.Media”.<\/p>\n

The center provided rehabilitation for children and adults with disabilities. Specialists helped them restore their physical and emotional well-being, as well as develop everyday, communication, and learning skills.<\/p>\n

The establishment also housed a hippotherapy department and a large stable.<\/p>\n

Photographs of the aftermath of the strike were released by the center’s director, Elena Sushchenko.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha noted that there were no military facilities in the center.<\/p>\n

“This is yet another horrific reminder of why there can be no pause in protecting life. This was a place where the most vulnerable people were rehabilitated, regained their confidence, and rebuilt their lives. There was no military objective there. Russia’s war is so morally bankrupt that its enemy is no longer the Ukrainian army. A rehabilitation center for children and people with disabilities is what Putin considers a military objective,” Sybiga stated. <\/p>\n
