The reason was Russian shelling of energy infrastructure, as well as bad weather that damaged power grids in two regions.

This was reported by Ukrenergo.

According to the company, new power outages were recorded in Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions due to Russian drone and artillery attacks. At the same time, thunderstorms and strong winds left four settlements in Poltava and Mykolaiv regions completely or partially without power.

“Everywhere, where safety conditions allow, emergency restoration work is already being carried out. Power engineers are doing everything possible to restore power to all consumers as soon as possible,” Ukrenergo reported.

At the same time, the energy company noted that overall electricity consumption corresponds to seasonal indicators. Due to the increased load, Ukrainians were urged to use powerful electrical appliances mainly from 10:00 to 15:00, when solar power plants operate most efficiently.

Ukrenergo emphasized that the situation in the power system may change depending on the security situation and the consequences of new attacks, so Ukrainians are advised to monitor messages from their electricity distribution system operators.

Also follow “Pryamim” on Facebook , X , Telegram , and Instagram.

In several regions of Ukraine, some consumers were left without electricity on the morning of July 21.
