Russian oil refineries damaged by Ukrainian drone strikes have been able to restore less than half of their operations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the publication, after unscheduled repairs, refineries with a combined capacity of about 40 million tons per year have returned to selling fuel on the exchange. At the same time, enterprises capable of processing another 45 million tons of oil annually remain suspended.<\/p>\n

During June and July, at least ten Russian oil refineries temporarily stopped receiving raw materials and production due to drone attacks.<\/p>\n

In particular, over the past three weeks, the Gazpromneftekhim Salavat refinery, Rosneft’s Syzran and Saratov plants, Gazprom Neft’s Omsk refinery, as well as the Nizhegorodnaftoorgsintez plant, owned by Lukoil, have suspended operations. Earlier, in June, the Moscow Gazprom Neft refinery and the Tatneft company’s Taneco plant were also hit.<\/p>\n

According to Energy Intelligence, amid these attacks, oil refining volumes in Russia have fallen to 3.5 million barrels per day, the lowest level in the last 20 years.<\/p>\n

Despite this, market sources claim that the situation with gasoline supply is gradually stabilizing: recently, more production capacities have been put into operation than are being taken out for repairs.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Russian oil companies continue to use up accumulated fuel reserves. Gasoline reserves have already decreased from 1.7 million tons at the end of June to 1.5 million tons.<\/p>\n

According to experts, the full restoration of gasoline and diesel production, which has decreased by 25% and 40%, respectively, will take at least two months if there are no new drone attacks.<\/p>\n

The Moscow Refinery suffered the most damage, according to the publication. Its restoration may last until 2027, and the cost of repairs is estimated at approximately $1 billion.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that on the night of July 22, drones attacked the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories of the Russian Federation.<\/a> After the explosions, fires broke out at large Wildberries logistics centers in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk, as well as at an oil depot in Armavir.<\/p>\n
