The new Chief of the General Staff Ihor Skybyuk was also introduced to the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> He wrote about this in <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/osirskiy\/1778\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Telegram<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p> According to Syrsky, Acting Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yevheniy Khmara introduced the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Mykhailo Drapaty, as well as the new Chief of the General Staff, Major General Ihor Skybyuk, to the leadership of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> During the ceremony, Syrsky officially transferred the powers of Commander-in-Chief to Mykhailo Drapatom.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;A new stage lies ahead. I wish the new military leadership strength, endurance, wise decisions, unity with the army, and victories,&#8221; Syrsky said.<\/p>\n<p> The former commander-in-chief also expressed his wishes for the further work of the new military leadership.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;May every decision bring Ukraine closer to peace, and every order protect the lives of our soldiers and inflict devastating losses on the enemy,&#8221; Syrsky added.<\/p>\n<p> As reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/zelenskyy-vidstoronyv-syrskoho-vid-posady-holovnokomanduvacha-zsu\/\">Mykhailo Drapaty will become the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine<\/a> . At the same time, Oleksandr Syrskyy will complete his work in the position and hand over his affairs to the new leadership.<\/p>\n<p> Later, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/syrskyy-pislia-zvilnennia-zvernuvsia-do-ukraintsiv-i-pidbyv-pidsumky-komanduvannia-zsu\/\">after his dismissal from the post of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky addressed the Ukrainians<\/a> .
