A court in Wroclaw, Poland, has remanded two men suspected of attacking a Ukrainian couple in custody for three months. Law enforcement is still searching for another alleged attacker.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> Radio Liberty, citing the spokesman for the Wroclaw District Prosecutor’s Office, Jakub D\u0142ubacz.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The day before, the prosecutor’s office charged the detainees with assault and violence committed out of national hatred.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to Dlubach, the court agreed with the investigation’s arguments and chose a preventive measure of three months’ detention for both suspects.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The men in question are 45-year-old Adam K. and 27-year-old Tomasz K. Both deny involvement in the attack. The defense has seven days to appeal the court’s decision.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

During the investigation, Tomasz K. testified, while Adam K. refused to answer the investigators’ questions.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In addition, Adam K. is suspected of committing a crime again. If proven guilty in court, he faces up to seven and a half years in prison.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, police continue to search for a third suspect in the attack on the Ukrainian couple.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, Polish law enforcement officers have detained two suspects in an attack on Ukrainian citizens in Wroclaw.<\/a> Another alleged attacker is currently being sought.<\/p>\n
