On the night of Thursday, July 30, Russia carried out one of the largest combined strikes on Ukraine, using 358 air attack vehicles. Air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 320 enemy targets, but it was not possible to completely avoid hits. The main areas of attack were the Kyiv and Lviv regions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the military, the invaders used 74 missiles of various types and 284 strike drones. In particular, the enemy launched four Zircon\/Onyx anti-ship missiles, nine Iskander-M, S-400 and KN-23 ballistic missiles, 61 Kh-101 and Caliber cruise missiles, as well as 284 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and simulator drones.<\/p>\n

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces were involved in repelling the attack.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, Ukrainian air defenses had shot down or suppressed 320 air targets. Among them were one ballistic missile, 54 cruise missiles, and 265 drones of various types.<\/p>\n

Despite the successful work of the air defense, three anti-ship missiles, six ballistic missiles, and two cruise missiles, as well as 17 strike drones were recorded in 20 locations. In addition, debris from downed targets fell in 13 more places. Information about eight missiles is currently being clarified.<\/p>\n

The Air Force noted that the airstrike continued after the morning data was released, as Russian strike drones remained in the sky. Ukrainians were urged not to ignore airstrike signals and to follow safety rules.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of Thursday, July 30, Russia launched a massive missile strike on Ukraine. Kyiv, Lviv, and the suburbs of Kryvyi Rih were under fire. One person died in the capital, dozens were injured in Lviv, and the search for people under the rubble is ongoing, and in the Dnipropetrovsk region, a Russian missile hit a private house, killing six people, including two children.<\/a><\/p>\n
