On July 30, Ukraine will still have comfortable summer weather without precipitation, but by the end of the week, a new wave of abnormal heat will cover the country. Forecasters warn that the first decade of August may become the hottest period of this summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, as well as by forecaster Vitaliy Postrygan.<\/p>\n

According to weather forecasters, on Thursday it will be dry almost throughout the country, with light cloudiness and daytime air temperatures of +23…+28 degrees. The warmest will be in Transcarpathia, where the air will warm up to +30…+33 degrees.<\/p>\n

However, strong gusts of northwest wind up to 15\u201320 m\/s are expected in Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, and Luhansk regions. Because of this, the first, yellow, level of danger has been declared in the regions.<\/p>\n

According to Vitaliy Postryhan, the situation will change dramatically starting July 31. Hot subtropical air will begin to arrive in Ukraine, and the atmosphere will be shaped by the so-called “thermal dome,” which will bring prolonged heat.<\/p>\n

“The first ten days of August may become our hottest period of this summer,” the forecaster warned.<\/p>\n

According to him, already in early August the temperature will rise to +30…+34 degrees, and on weekends it will reach +35 degrees in places. According to preliminary forecasts, such dry and hot weather will last at least until August 5.<\/p>\n

Partrygan also noted that Europe is currently warming the fastest on the planet, and in the central regions of Ukraine, the number of days with temperatures above +35 degrees has increased by approximately 70% in recent decades.<\/p>\n

In Kyiv on July 30, +25…+27 degrees are expected, in Lviv – up to +30, in Odessa – +26…+28, in Dnipro – +24…+26, and in Kharkiv – +22…+24 degrees. In the future, the temperature will gradually increase in almost all regions.<\/p>\n

Let us remind you that after a relatively mild summer, Ukraine will be hit by a real heat wave. From the beginning of August, the temperature will start to rise rapidly, and the first ten days of the month may become the hottest period<\/a> of this summer. At the same time, the weather in different regions will be different: some regions will suffer from the heat, while others will periodically experience rain.<\/p>\n
