The Security Service of Ukraine reported the destruction of three oil refineries in the Republic of Bashkortostan and four radar stations in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. According to the special service, the operations were aimed at reducing Russia’s military potential.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the press service<\/a> of the SBU.<\/p>\n

Thus, on the night of August 1, long-range drones struck the infrastructure of three oil refineries in the city of Ufa, located approximately 1,600 kilometers from the state border of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

These are the enterprises “Bashneft-UNPZ”, “Bashneft-Novoil” and “Bashneft-Ufanaftokhim”, which are part of the structure of “Bashneft” and form one of the largest oil refining clusters in Russia.<\/p>\n

According to the SBU, the total capacity of these enterprises exceeds 23 million tons of oil per year. The refineries produce gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, lubricants and other products, which are used, in particular, to meet the needs of the Russian army.<\/p>\n

In addition, Ukrainian drones hit three Podlyot-K1 radar stations and one Kasta-2E2 radar in the Krasnodar Territory, which Russian troops use to detect air targets.<\/p>\n

The SBU noted that the operations are being carried out to fulfill the tasks set by President Volodymyr Zelensky to reduce the military potential of the Russian Federation. The special service emphasized that it will continue to systematically strike at facilities that provide the Russian army with fuel and resources for waging war.<\/p>\n

The day before, President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that Ukrainian naval drones had sunk the Russian container ship Yanina, which belonged to FESCO, a company from the Rosatom group<\/a> . The ship was under sanctions and had a cargo capacity of over 100,000 tons.<\/p>\n

By the way, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported the destruction of three Russian military targets in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region and Crimea<\/a> . According to intelligence estimates, the losses of the occupiers exceeded $20 million.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported another series of strikes on Russian logistical and military facilities<\/a> used by the enemy, including in temporarily occupied territories.<\/p>\n
