The United States plans to intensify diplomatic efforts to resume talks between Ukraine and Russia in the coming weeks. At the same time, Washington recognizes that the success of this initiative is not guaranteed due to the positions of the parties.<\/strong><\/p>\n

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that in the coming weeks the United States will make new efforts to explore the possibility of resuming negotiations between Ukraine and Russia and ending the war.<\/p>\n

“Over the next few weeks, you’re going to see some efforts to see if we can get negotiations back between Russia and Ukraine and end this war,” Rubio said.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the US Secretary of State emphasized that a positive outcome is not guaranteed, as both sides have clearly defined positions on key issues.<\/p>\n

“We also understand that both sides have pretty clear red lines, and until we can bring those red lines a little closer together, we won’t achieve the desired outcome,” Rubio said.<\/p>\n
