It is 756 meters in length.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NASA announced this, <a href=\"https:\/\/eyes.nasa.gov\/apps\/asteroids\/#\/watch\/173561_2000_yv137\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">publishing<\/a> an interactive map of the asteroid&#8217;s approach to Earth. The celestial body, designated 173561 (2000 YV137), will pass at a distance of approximately 5 million km from Earth.<\/p>\n<p>Asteroids larger than 150 meters and approaching our planet at a distance of less than 7.5 million km are considered potentially hazardous. Asteroid 173561 (2000 YV137) is significantly larger and will pass closer than the specified parameters, requiring constant monitoring.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, NASA is confident that the passage of this asteroid does not pose a threat of collision with our planet.<\/p>\n<p>Until recently, 99942 Apophis was considered the most dangerous asteroid in this group. It is expected to pass at a distance of approximately 32,000 km from Earth on April 29, 2029, significantly below the orbit of some satellites. Apophis is approximately 370 meters in size. At its closest approach, it will be visible to the naked eye.
