Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, stated that the Russian leadership still expects to achieve its goals through military means. At the same time, according to him, strategically the war has already reached a dead end for Russia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Budanov stated this while answering journalists’ questions.<\/p>\n

According to him, the Kremlin continues to believe that it will be able to implement its plans on the battlefield, but such calculations are erroneous.<\/p>\n

“So far, I see that they believe that they can achieve their goal through military means. This is a false statement,” Budanov said.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He noted that the fighting continues with varying success for both sides, but this does not change the overall picture.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“There are some military actions: with advancement, without advancement, there are our advancements, their advancements. Strategically, it has long been in the corner,” the head of the President’s Office emphasized.<\/p>\n

Budanov also commented on the negotiation process, emphasizing that the main thing is not the fact of the start of negotiations, but the result that will be achieved.<\/p>\n

“It’s not so important how to enter this process, it’s much more important what to come out of it with. To come out of it with the result we need, we must be strong and remain united,” he said.<\/p>\n
