The temporary investigative commission of the Verkhovna Rada has appealed to Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky with a request to hold the head of the State Financial Monitoring Service, Philip Pronin, accountable for disciplinary action and initiate the dismissal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by<\/a> ZN.UA with reference to the address of the head of the TSC, People’s Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko.<\/p>\n

The commission stated that Pronin was repeatedly summoned to meetings, starting on January 15, 2026, to testify on matters related to national security and defense, including Operation Midas. However, according to the TSC, he did not appear at any of the meetings.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The appeal notes that the head of the State Financial Monitoring Service explained his absence by vacations, business trips, or sick leave. At the same time, the commission recalled that back in February it had decided on Pronin’s mandatory participation in its meetings.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The TSC also claims that the previous Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko twice instructed Pronin to ensure personal participation in the work of the commission, but according to the deputies, he did not fulfill these instructions.<\/p>\n

In this regard, the TSC asks the Prime Minister to hold Pronin disciplinary accountable, consider the issue of his dismissal, and ensure his personal participation in the commission meeting scheduled for August 17.<\/p>\n

The commission believes that systematic ignoring of parliamentary TSC meetings undermines the authority of the Verkhovna Rada and negatively affects the work of state bodies under martial law.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that during his year in office, Philip Pronin, the head of the State Financial Monitoring Service, spent more than 70 days on business trips abroad.<\/a><\/p>\n

Let us recall that in 2024, the Poltava Regional Military Administration received almost 400 million hryvnias for the construction of fortifications in the Donetsk region<\/a> . However, instead of reliable protection for the military, only conditional structures appeared there – sticks, several pits and low-quality materials. Experts call this more of an imitation than a real fortification, unable to withstand modern weapons.<\/p>\n

Earlier , “Pryamiy” reported that the wife of the head of the State Financial Monitoring Service, Philip Pronin, became a business partner in the company of sanctioned oligarch Dmitry Firtash<\/a> . It was Pronin, according to journalists, who facilitated the imposition of sanctions on Petro Poroshenko.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that the report to the European Commission by the Coalition of Ukrainian NGOs led by the Laboratory of Legislative Initiatives (LLI) indicates the political motives of the activities of the Head of the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine, Philip Pronin, on the basis of whose letter sanctions were imposed against Petro Poroshenko.<\/a><\/p>\n
