On the night of August 4, Russian troops struck Mykolaiv. The attack killed an 89-year-old woman and injured seven others.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the Mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych<\/a> , and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.<\/a><\/p>\n

According to Sienkevych, the private sector of the city was hit. As a result of the shelling, significant damage was recorded to private and multi-apartment residential buildings.<\/p>\n

The State Emergency Service clarified that among the victims are two girls, aged 2 and 12.<\/p>\n

In addition, a fire broke out in a private residential building as a result of the enemy strike. Two private houses were destroyed, seven more were damaged. A car was also damaged and windows in three apartment buildings were broken.<\/p>\n

Rescuers have already extinguished all sources of ignition.<\/p>\n

After the airstrike, city services arrived at the scene to assess the damage and determine priority work. 14 rescuers, psychologists, four units of special equipment from the State Emergency Service, volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross Rapid Response Unit, police officers, medics, and emergency crews were involved in eliminating the consequences of the attack.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that on the afternoon of August 3, Russian troops launched an attack on the Dnieper River. The attack resulted in a fire in food warehouses.<\/a><\/p>\n
