President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that this year Ukraine is receiving three times fewer missiles for air defense systems from partners than last year. According to him, this is already forcing the state to look for additional solutions to protect critical infrastructure.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by<\/a> the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on social networks.<\/p>\n

According to the head of state, during the meeting with the military, the Ministry of Defense, the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Security Service, and representatives of the Office of the President, the main attention was paid to the situation in the Donetsk region. In particular, they discussed the fighting in the Kostyantynivka and Sloviansk directions, the provision of drones and funding to units, as well as further actions of the Ukrainian military.<\/p>\n

Separately, the meeting participants focused on the protection of critical infrastructure facilities.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“This year, unfortunately, the supply of anti-ballistic missiles from partners has significantly decreased. The number of air defense missiles has decreased threefold compared to 2025,” Zelenskyy emphasized.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The President added that the partners have missiles, but their transfer to Ukraine requires appropriate political decisions. He also said that it is important to accelerate the production and localization of such weapons in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

In addition, Zelenskyy reported that the meeting determined the priorities of the sanctions policy for August. According to him, Ukraine continues to strike at Russian oil infrastructure and will work to increase sanctions pressure on Russia together with partners.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, US President Donald Trump, during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky last week , refused to transfer hundreds of additional interceptor missiles for Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine.<\/a><\/p>\n
