As a result of a Russian attack on the night of August 5, a warehouse with finished products of the JTI Ukraine company was destroyed in the Kyiv region. Also damaged was the goods of “Imperial Brands Ukraine”, which were stored in the warehouses of partners.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by<\/a> “Ekonomichna Pravda” with reference to the press services of the companies.<\/p>\n

JTI confirmed that the company’s finished product warehouse was completely destroyed as a result of Russian shelling.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“As a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of August 5, the JTI Ukraine finished product warehouse in the Kyiv region was destroyed. There were no injuries among the company’s employees,” the company reported.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the same time, JTI noted that they do not expect any disruptions in the supply of products to retail chains. The company has not yet disclosed the extent of the losses.<\/p>\n

Imperial Brands Ukraine also reported that products stored in the warehouses of distributors and retail partners were damaged during the latest Russian shelling. The company did not specify whether this was the same warehouse as in the case of JTI.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Director of Imperial Brands Ukraine Yevhen Kobets reported that the losses from the latest attack are estimated at tens of millions of hryvnias.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to him, the damage caused short-term disruptions in the supply of products in certain areas of Kyiv.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that the massive Russian attack on the night of August 5 affected the logistics infrastructure of several large companies.<\/a> PUMA, INTERTOP, and Toyota Ukraine reported the loss of warehouses, and the Silpo chain confirmed the death of six employees. <\/p>\n
