The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published<\/a> operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on August 9 regarding the Russian invasion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In total , 213 combat clashes<\/strong> have taken place since the beginning of this day. The aggressor launched one missile strike, used nine missiles, carried out 66 air strikes using 211 guided bombs, used 6,347 kamikaze drones for strikes, and carried out 2,114 shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements.<\/p>\n

In the North Slobozhansk<\/strong> and Kursk<\/strong> directions, two clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day, and the enemy has carried out 41 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements.<\/p>\n

During the day, in the South Slobozhansk<\/strong> direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 12 times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Vovchansk, Artilne and towards the settlements of Izbitske, Volokhovka, Kupine, Khatne. Two clashes are still ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk<\/strong> direction, two enemy attacks took place in the Petropavlivka area and towards Novoplatonivka.<\/p>\n

Twenty-seven attempts by the invaders to advance were repelled in the Lyman<\/strong> direction in the areas of the settlements of Novoyehorivka, Novoselivka, Torske, Yampil and towards the settlements of Drobysheve, Lyman, Dibrova and Ozerne. Seven clashes are ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk<\/strong> direction, the Defense Forces successfully stopped seven attempts by the invaders to advance in the Riznykivka area and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk<\/strong> direction, Russian invaders carried out three attacks in the area of Nykyforivka and towards Yurkivka.<\/p>\n

In the Kostyantynivka<\/strong> direction, the Defense Forces repelled 24 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Illinivka and towards the settlements of Dovha Balka and Mykolaypillya. Two clashes are ongoing.<\/p>\n

Nineteen attacks were carried out by the enemy in the Pokrovsky<\/strong> direction. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and towards the settlements of Kucheriv Yar, Nove Shakhove, Shevchenko, Svitle, Serhiivka, Muravka, Matyashevo, Novopavlivka. Two clashes are still ongoing.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary estimates, today 40 occupiers were eliminated here, 20 were wounded; one artillery system, a fuel and lubricants depot, 25 enemy personnel shelters and three UAV control points were destroyed. Three artillery systems, six units of automotive equipment, two units of special equipment, 13 UAV control points and 120 enemy personnel shelters were damaged. 390 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.<\/p>\n

In the Oleksandrivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy launched three attacks towards Danylovka and Novy Zaporizhzhia.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipil<\/strong> direction, the Defense Forces repelled 17 enemy attacks towards the settlements of Vozdvizhivka, Hirke, Hulyaipilske, Rivne, and Tsvitkove. Two clashes are ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction, our defenders repelled two enemy attempts to advance towards Primorske and in the Plavni area.<\/p>\n

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Dnieper<\/strong> direction.<\/p>\n

There were no significant changes in the situation in other areas.<\/p>\n
