After the attack, there were reports of fires at the facility.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This is reported by Russian media.<\/p>\n<p> According to monitoring channels, residents of Nizhnyokamsk and Chistopol reported a large number of drones in the sky. Later, information about fires appeared. <\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/js\/telegram-widget.js?24\" data-telegram-post=\"Tsaplienko\/97127\" data-width=\"100%\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p> Nizhnyokamsk is home to a large oil refining complex, which includes TANECO, TAIF-NK, and the facilities of Sibur.<\/p>\n<p> The complex is an important element of Russia&#8217;s fuel and energy infrastructure. It has been repeatedly attacked by Ukrainian drones, most recently on July 8.<\/p>\n<p> In addition, at around 04:00 local time, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that Russian air defenses had shot down more than 10 Ukrainian drones heading towards the Russian capital.<\/p>\n<p> Recall that on the night of June 12, 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation. <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/henshtab-zsu-pidtverdyv-urazhennia-npz-u-tatarstani-ta-kombinatu-v-rf\/\">In particular, two oil refineries in Tatarstan were hit<\/a> , as well as industrial and military targets in other regions of the Russian Federation.
