In Mykolaiv Oblast, a road accident occurred on a field road between the villages of Pokrovske and Chervona Dolyna in the Shyrokivska community, injuring the driver and 5 passengers of the car. Among the injured were minors aged 6, 13, 15 and 17, all 6 people were hospitalized.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by the police<\/a> of the Mykolaiv region.<\/p>\n

The accident occurred at around 7:55 p.m. According to preliminary data, the 25-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi Lancer caused it to roll over.<\/p>\n

As a result of the accident, the driver and 5 passengers aged 6, 13, 15, 17 and 19 received injuries of varying severity. The injured were hospitalized to medical facilities.<\/p>\n

Police are establishing all the circumstances and causes of the car accident.<\/p>\n

Investigators have preliminarily classified the incident under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – “Violation of road traffic safety rules or transport operation by persons driving vehicles.”<\/p>\n

As a reminder, a fatal road accident involving a passenger minibus and a truck occurred<\/a> in the Mykolaiv region. Nine people died and eight more were injured as a result of the accident.<\/p>\n
