As of the morning of August 10, there are power outages in four regions of Ukraine due to new Russian shelling. At the same time, emergency and restoration work is ongoing in the Odessa region after a massive Russian attack on the night of August 9.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the press service of NPC Ukrenergo.<\/p>\n

New damage to the energy infrastructure has been recorded in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Sumy regions. In the Odessa region, energy workers continue to restore electricity supply: a significant part of consumers who were left without electricity earlier have already been restored, however, over the past day, Russian troops have again attacked energy facilities in the region.<\/p>\n

Ukrenergo noted that as of 9:30 a.m. on August 10, electricity consumption was 16.7% lower than on the previous working day, Friday, August 7. The decrease is attributed to cooler weather and high efficiency of household solar power plants.<\/p>\n

Ukrainians are urged to postpone active electricity consumption to the period from 10:00 to 16:00, when industrial solar power plants operate most efficiently, if possible. At the same time, residents of the Odessa region are asked to use electricity sparingly to prevent equipment overload after a massive attack.<\/p>\n

In particular, according to Ukrenergo, the application of hourly outage schedules on August 10 is not expected.<\/p>\n
