The government is preparing mechanisms to support publishers to compensate for the losses and provide students with educational materials in a timely manner.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"> This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1JJoofbttg\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was announced by<\/a> the Minister of Education and Science, Andriy Butenko, on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"> According to him, in 2026, they plan to print 13.5 million copies of textbooks for Ukrainian schoolchildren.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"> So far, 2.3 million textbooks have already been delivered to educational institutions. Another 3.7 million copies are in the process of being shipped.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"> At the same time, Russian strikes on Ukrainian printing companies may slow down the printing and delivery of educational literature. In case of delays, students and teachers will be able to use electronic versions of textbooks.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"> Butenko stressed that there are only a few weeks left until the start of the new school year. According to him, classes should start on September 1 in those regions where the security situation allows.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"> The minister assured that Russian attacks on educational institutions, printing houses, and educational materials will not disrupt the start of the school year.<\/p>\n<p> In parallel, educational institutions are preparing for the autumn-winter period. In particular, the authorities are equipping shelters, increasing the energy efficiency of schools, and updating school transport.
