The most intense period of heat this summer has already passed, but it is still too early to say goodbye to high temperatures completely: the heat will return to Ukraine at the end of August.

This was reported by weather forecaster Vitaliy Postrygan.

According to him, a cold atmospheric front crossed Ukraine, and in neighboring Poland, frosts on the soil surface of up to 2 degrees were already recorded.

August 11 will be the warmest day of the coming period. However, on the night of August 12, another northern atmospheric front will cross the central regions, after which the temperature will drop again.

The weather in Ukraine will be determined by the anticyclone Ralf from August 12 to 15. High atmospheric pressure will help reduce cloudiness, and cooler air from the Baltic region will enter the country.

At night, the temperature will drop to +9°…+14°, and during the day there will be comfortable summer heat – +21°…+26°.

At the same time, the weather forecaster predicts that subtropical air may again arrive in Ukraine at the end of the second decade of August.

“According to preliminary forecast calculations, subtropical heat will return at the end of the second decade of August. According to him, a new wave of 40-degree heat from Europe does not threaten Ukraine in the near future.

After short-term rains and thunderstorms, an anticyclone will arrive in Ukraine on August 11–12.
