South Korea has not confirmed the possibility of supplying air defense systems or other weapons to Ukraine. Seoul emphasizes that the transfer of defense materials to other countries is carried out in accordance with domestic legislation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Korea Times<\/a> reports this, citing a senior official of the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n

“South Korea’s supply of defense materials to any country has always been carried out in accordance with domestic legislation,” the agency’s representative stated.<\/p>\n

At the same time, he noted that Seoul will continue to support Ukraine in humanitarian areas. This includes assistance in the energy sector, infrastructure restoration, healthcare, and education.<\/p>\n

The publication notes that the South Korean official’s statement is essentially consistent with Seoul’s current position, which has still not agreed to the transfer of lethal weapons to Ukraine.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Russia had likely received a new batch of North Korean ballistic missiles and could increase their use in attacks on Ukraine<\/a> . This is indicated by the resumption of the use of North Korean-made missiles after a hiatus of nearly a year.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, the 11th Congress of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League was held in Pyongyang, during which North Korean leader Kim Jong-un called on young people to support the country’s state policies and military goals.
