A man was killed in an explosion on Stoletovsky Avenue in occupied Sevastopol. Social media users claim that the explosives may have been placed in a trash can.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The explosion was reported by Russian channels Mash<\/a> and Baza<\/a> .<\/p>\n

According to them, the incident occurred when the man was walking up the stairs with a friend. He died on the spot from his injuries. The force of the explosion was such that locals initially assumed that a drone had hit the house.<\/p>\n

Mash claims that before the explosion, a woman with a backpack was near houses #28 and #30, allegedly following the man.<\/p>\n

Later, the Russian Telegram channel 112 stated<\/a> that the deceased was a captain of the 1st rank.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the pro-Ukrainian Telegram channel “Krymsky veter” reported<\/a> that the deceased was allegedly the former commander of the Ukrainian submarine “Zaporizhzhia” Robert Shageev. According to the channel, in 2014 he betrayed his oath and went over to the side of Russia. This information has not been officially confirmed yet.<\/p>\n

According to<\/a> the “Book of Executioners” project, Shageev is the commander of a submarine crew in the 4th Submarine Brigade of the Novorossiysk Naval Base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.<\/p>\n

In particular, the authors of the project claim that it may be involved in executing orders to conduct combat operations at sea and missile strikes by Russian submarines on Ukrainian cities, energy and civilian facilities.<\/p>\n
