The 425th Separate Assault Regiment \u201cSkelya\u201d is being placed under the operational command of the Azov Corps, with some of its units already carrying out combat missions as part of the new command structure.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported on Butusov Plus by<\/a> Oleksiy Bratushchak, head of the communications department of the 425th Separate Assault Regiment.<\/p>\n

According to him, the command plans to unite the battalions and combined units of the Rock, which are currently performing tasks in different directions.<\/p>\n

In the future, the regiment’s units should concentrate on a single sector of the front and conduct combat missions under the operational leadership of the Azov Corps.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Bratuschak clarified that the 425th separate assault regiment will not be directly included in the Azov Corps’ structure.<\/p>\n

Some of the Rock units have already begun performing combat missions within the new operational subordination.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Babel publication reported that at least 26 recruits of the 425th Separate Assault Regiment “Skelya” died from the end of 2025 to the spring of 2026.<\/a><\/p>\n

Subsequently, the 425th Separate Assault Regiment \u201cSkelya\u201d responded to a journalistic investigation into the service in the unit and the death of servicemen<\/a>. The command stated that they were ready to cooperate with the investigation but urged caution, asking that no conclusions be drawn until all checks were completed.<\/p>\n

As reported, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation opened criminal proceedings after media publications about possible violations of the rights of servicemen of the “Skelya” assault regiment.<\/a><\/p>\n

In addition, Yuriy Harkavy, commander of the 425th separate assault regiment \u201cSkelya\u201d, was suspended from duty for the duration of the service checks.<\/a> This decision was made after the \u201cBabel\u201d investigation, which discussed possible deaths, torture, and abuse of mobilized personnel during training at the regiment\u2019s training centers.<\/p>\n

By the way, in the 425th separate assault regiment “Skelya” during the inspection, a group of instructors was identified who were associated with the abuse of servicemen at training grounds<\/a>. However, according to the Office of the Military Ombudsman, no measures were taken to hold these people accountable.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that the 425th Separate Assault Regiment “Skelya” responded to new information in the media about seven more deaths of mobilized personnel during exercises<\/a>. The unit stated that it strives to reduce non-combat losses to zero and is cooperating with law enforcement agencies.<\/p>\n

On July 10, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation detained a serviceman of the 425th Separate Assault Regiment \u201cSkelya\u201d who is suspected of violence against his colleagues<\/a>. The investigation is establishing the circumstances of two incidents that injured a military chaplain and a lieutenant colonel.<\/p>\n
