One of these devices is already reaching speeds of over 600 km\/h.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/zedigital\/6894\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was announced by<\/a> former Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov.<\/p>\n<p> According to him, Russia is gradually increasing the use of jet attack drones, which are much faster than conventional Shaheds. In response, Ukrainian developers are creating new means of intercepting air targets.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Today we see a trend: the Russians are gradually replacing conventional Shaheds with jets. This is a change in the strategy of war in the sky. Our reaction must be quick in order to continue to defeat Russia in every technological cycle,&#8221; Fedorov emphasized.<\/p>\n<p> According to him, over the past year, Ukraine has been actively developing the field of interceptor drones. Developers have received grants through the Brave1 platform, undergone testing, and improved their solutions.<\/p>\n<p> Several Ukrainian companies already have their own prototypes of jet interceptors. One of these drones is capable of accelerating to speeds of over 600 kilometers per hour.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;The team was one of the first in Ukraine to create a jet interceptor drone, which, thanks to a jet engine, develops a speed of over 600 km\/h. The development is currently undergoing combat testing. We are awaiting the results and the first confirmed downings,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p> Fedorov noted that the development of such technologies is one of the key areas of protecting Ukrainian skies. The authorities plan to continue investing in research, testing, and scaling up production of new air defense systems.<\/p>\n<p> As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is expanding the project of guaranteed support for units that directly hold the defense line and conduct active combat operations.
