The cause was attributed to a sharp change in the flow of electricity in the unified power system of Central Asia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This is reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/energy\/three-central-asian-countries-report-simultaneous-power-blackouts-2026-08-14\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Reuters<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p> The energy departments of the four countries confirmed the outage and reported work to restore power supply.<\/p>\n<p> Power outages were recorded, in particular, in Almaty and Bishkek.
