The former commander of the Ukrainian submarine “Zaporizhzhia” Robert Shageev, who after the occupation of Crimea transferred to the service of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, died on August 13, 2026. His death is confirmed by data from the Russian tax service, where Shageev’s TIN was added to the list of invalid individual numbers.<\/span><\/h3>\n

This is reported by the “Book of Executioners”<\/a> .<\/p>\n

“Previously, unofficial information appeared about a possible attempt on Shageev in Sevastopol, but there was no confirmation of this. The appearance of the traitor’s TIN in the list of invalid numbers of individuals became the first official evidence of his death,” the report said.<\/p>\n

Shageev was born on February 21, 1977 in Crimea. Since 1999, he served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and in October 2013 was appointed commander of the submarine “Zaporizhzhia”.<\/p>\n

During the occupation of Crimea in 2014, Shageev failed to comply with the order to relocate to Odessa and refused to take the submarine to the Ukrainian mainland. On May 17, 2014, he was dismissed from his position as commander of the Zaporizhzhia. After that, Shageev signed a contract with the Russian Armed Forces and became deputy commander of the 4th Separate Submarine Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.<\/p>\n

In Ukraine, Shageev was suspected of desertion and high treason. He was charged under Part 1 of Article 408 and Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
