The military leadership also identified priorities for long-range strikes over the coming weeks and in September.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/V_Zelenskiy_official\/20403\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was announced by<\/a> the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">According to him, special attention was paid during the report to the situation in the Donetsk region. The focus was on Kostyantynivka, Sloviansk, and Pokrovs&#8217;kyi areas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The military has updated data on the plans and tasks of the Russian army in these areas and is already preparing countermeasures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Separately, Zelenskyy heard a report by the Minister of Defense on protecting cities, communities, and frontline logistics from Russian drones. The president emphasized that this area needs additional resources to be strengthened.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Together with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Zelenskyy\u00a0also identified additional steps to strengthen Ukrainian defenses in the most tense areas of the front.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">In addition, the president was instructed to prepare personnel decisions proposed by the head of the department.
