NABU and SAPO are conducting a large-scale special operation to expose a criminal organization that, according to investigators, operated under the leadership of a current and former People’s Deputies of Ukraine. High-ranking officials of the President’s Office and other individuals may have been involved in its activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

NABU stated that law enforcement officers are conducting a number of investigative actions as part of the operation.<\/p>\n

According to<\/a> Ukrainska Pravda’s sources in business and political circles, searches are being conducted at the homes of People’s Deputy Vadym Stolar and Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Iryna Mudra.<\/p>\n

The NABU is not naming the suspects and has not yet revealed details of the possible crimes. The bureau only confirmed the special operation.<\/p>\n

“NABU and SAPO are conducting a special operation to expose a criminal organization that operated under the leadership of a current and former People’s Deputies of Ukraine, with the participation of high-ranking officials of the Office of the President of Ukraine and other persons,” NABU reported.<\/p>\n

Vadym Stolar was elected to the Verkhovna Rada from the now banned party “Opposition Platform – For Life”.<\/p>\n

The investigation is ongoing. The NABU and SAPO are expected to provide more details after the completion of individual procedural actions.<\/p>\n
