Flags will be flown at half-mast in the capital, and entertainment events will be banned.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/vitaliy_klitschko\/7272\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was announced by<\/a> the city mayor Vitali Klitschko.<\/p>\n<p> According to him, flags will be lowered on all municipal buildings in the city on August 21. The capital also recommends lowering national flags on state and private buildings.<\/p>\n<p> In addition, no entertainment events will be held in Kyiv on the Day of Mourning.<\/p>\n<p> The Russian attack killed at least 12 people in the capital. Another person was killed in the Kyiv region. The number of injured in Kyiv has risen to 40, including two police officers, according to the Prosecutor General&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p> The consequences of the impact were recorded in Solomyansky, Svyatoshynsky and Darnytsky districts. At least 17 multi-story buildings were damaged. In one of the nine-story buildings, the upper floors were significantly destroyed.<\/p>\n<p> The Russian strike also damaged a school, a kindergarten, a children&#8217;s hospital, a dormitory, warehouses, shops, garages, and a gas station.<\/p>\n<p> Eight people died in Solomyansk district. According to the head of the district administration, Serhiy Movenko, residential buildings, educational and medical institutions, business facilities, and transport were damaged there.<\/p>\n<p> Law enforcement officers have launched an investigation into the facts of war crimes under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
