The relevant resolution was adopted on August 20, and the diplomatic mission in Helsinki will cease operations from September 1.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"217\" data-end=\"323\">This is stated in <a href=\"https:\/\/pravo.by\/document\/?guid=12551&amp;p0=C22600424\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the list<\/a> of decisions of the Belarusian government, and is also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hs.fi\/maailma\/art-2000012220141.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reported by<\/a> the Finnish publication Helsingin Sanomat.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"325\" data-end=\"499\">The document was signed by Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchyn. It also states that the January 2011 decree on the opening of an embassy in Finland will no longer be in effect.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"501\" data-end=\"714\">The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland confirmed the information about the closure of the embassy. The diplomatic mission is located in Helsinki and, in addition to Finland, is accredited to Denmark, which means it represents the interests of Belarus there.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"716\" data-end=\"772\">The Belarusian authorities did not give reasons for closing the embassy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"774\" data-end=\"904\">In particular, in September 2023, Belarus closed its embassy in Slovakia.
