He assured that Lithuania would continue to support Ukraine and increase pressure on Russia and its allies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=puEIa1AClfk\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported<\/a> by the Office of the President.<\/p>\n<p> During his speech, Nauseda congratulated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Ukrainians on National Flag Day. He also recalled his visit to Kyiv in February 2022 with then-Polish President Andrzej Duda.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;The spirit of freedom that I feel here cannot be compared to anything else. The example of self-sacrifice that you demonstrate every day is especially valuable for the Lithuanian people,&#8221; Nauseda said.<\/p>\n<p> The Lithuanian president emphasized that his country continues to support Ukraine and considers its victory necessary for the security of Europe.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;We do not recognize the occupation of Ukrainian territories. We will increase pressure on the aggressor state and its accomplices,&#8221; Nauseda said.<\/p>\n<p> He also stated that Lithuania would assist Ukraine in restoring destroyed facilities and support its aspirations to join the European Union and NATO.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;We will help Ukraine rebuild destroyed schools, hospitals, and power plants.
