In occupied Crimea, on the night of August 24, satellites recorded fires at the Dzhankoy military airfield and the Zapadno-Krymskaya electrical substation in the Yevpatoria district. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the alleged shooting down of drones over the peninsula.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Telegram channel “Crimean Wind”, citing satellite data.<\/p>\n

According to<\/a> the Russian Defense Ministry, during the night, Russian air defense allegedly neutralized 351 drones over the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as Crimea, the Sea of Azov, and the Black Seas.<\/p>\n

In Sevastopol, the occupation authorities declared an air alert from 01:35 to 03:06. The occupation Ministry of Emergencies of Crimea also reported the danger of drone attacks from 22:07 on August 23 to 07:37 on August 24.<\/p>\n

In the Yevpatoria region, satellites recorded a fire at the 330\/110 kV “Zakhidno-Krymska” substation near the village of Kar’erne near Sakami.<\/p>\n

According to the channel, this substation is an important energy hub in Crimea. It provides electricity transmission between substations and consumers in the central and western parts of the peninsula.<\/p>\n

The 92 km long 330 kV high-voltage line “West Crimea – Sevastopol” passes through “West Crimea”, connecting the power plants of the peninsula.<\/p>\n

In addition, satellites recorded a fire at the aircraft parking lot at the Dzhankoy military airfield.<\/p>\n
