The prosecution cited, in particular, the risk that the suspect might be in hiding.<\/p>\n<p> The case involves recordings of Mudra&#8217;s conversations with MP Maksym Mykytas. According to the prosecution, they concern her contacts with officials and border guards. The investigation also refers to a conversation between Mudra and her daughter regarding her possible residence outside Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> Mudra herself denied receiving $4 million from Mykytas during the trial. She stated that she never received this money from him.<\/p>\n<p> The defense requested that the former official not be placed under preventive detention. Two people also vouched for Mudra, including the Chief Rabbi of Kyiv, Yonatan Binyamin Markovich.<\/p>\n<p> Thus, Mudra will be in custody unless he posts bail set by the court in the amount of UAH 20 million.<\/p>\n<p> Recall that the defendants in the Forrest Gump case discussed <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/yak-kontroliuvaty-systemu-nabu-opryliudnylo-novi-zapysy-u-spravi-forest-hamp\/\">the inability to obtain information from anti-corruption authorities and considered how to control the anti-corruption system.<\/a><\/p>\n<p> As reported, on August 21, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court imposed preventive measures on former MP Maksym Mykytas and head of PrJSC \u201cMetrobud\u201d Valentyn Yelizarov in the \u201cForrest Gump\u201d case.
