Former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, after his dismissal from office, entered doctoral studies at the National Defense University of Ukraine. He decided to remain in military service and refused civilian positions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by hromadske, citing a source close to Syrsky.<\/p>\n

After his release, Syrsky underwent a routine medical examination. He was found fit for military service, after which he decided to remain in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The National Defense University is part of the system of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“He has refused civilian positions. He will pursue the direction he has been pursuing all his life – systematizing and transferring the acquired experience to the Ukrainian and Western military,” the source said.<\/p>\n

According to the publication, Syrsky is still deciding on the topic of his future dissertation and discussing possible options. <\/p>\n
